Winnipeg Mayoral Race is crowded this time around with many candidates. This is also a celebration of democracy and displays the high expectations our residents have to seek change in status quo.
The leadership race for Winnipeg Mayor and my campaign is about discussing key points and policies which I will be unveiling during the course of my campaign.
From the perspective of my mayoral campaign, it has been all about meeting our residents, sharing my vision for Winnipeg, and getting feedback on what matters to them. I have been door knocking and ensuring at every step of the way, that our residents get the opportunity to share their grievances with me. The overwhelming story is there is a lot in our city that needs to be addressed.
From the high crime rate, to sewer funding; from snow clearance to asbestos in city water there are no dearth of discussion points. Which leads me to ask – why should our city struggle with so many important issues. I plan to reduce the struggles we encounter and make our city more prosperous.
Winnipeg is vibrant, has a great growth potential, our people are hard working, and we are resilient. So I promise to harness the wealth of resources available with us and channel our energy in the right direction.
Our residents deserve the right to quality of life, safe transit, sports and cultural facilities, and all the things that make a great city.
I invite residents of Winnipeg to engage with me – send me a text, contact me to discuss their concerns, and together let’s resolve to address our key challenges as a community. Aligned with my campaign pillars – Community, Sustainability, and Prosperity, I promise to work hard and be the candidate of choice for Winnipeg residents.
